Transfurmations Of Lymm Terms and Conditions

At Transfurmations of Lymm, your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first. Grooming can be stressful, especially for puppies, senior dogs, or those with health conditions. In rare cases, grooming may highlight or worsen underlying issues. If emergency veterinary care is needed, we will try to contact you first, but may act without prior contact if necessary. Any veterinary costs are the owner’s responsibility unless due to our negligence.

Health

Owners must inform Transfurmations of Lymm of any health conditions and ensure their dog is fit and well before attending. Please do not bring your dog if they are showing signs of illness or infection—contact us to rearrange your appointment.

Fleas & Ticks

Please ensure your dog is flea- and tick-free before attending. If fleas are found, a £15 charge will apply. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to rearrange if needed.

Matted Coats

We prioritise your dog’s comfort over appearance. Severely matted coats will be clipped short rather than de-matted, in line with welfare guidelines. Additional charges may apply due to extra time and care required.

Behaviour

Owners must inform us of any aggressive or nervous behaviour. We may use a muzzle if necessary. We reserve the right to stop or refuse a groom if safety is a concern. Full charges may still apply.

Appointments

Please arrive on time. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in cancellation, with the full fee still payable.

Cancellations

We require at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged in full.

Collection

Please collect your dog promptly. Late collections will incur a £5 fee per 15 minutes after the first 15 minutes.

Photos

We may share photos of your dog on our website and social media. Please let us know if you’d prefer this not to happen.
